Welcome all to the new "Best of Friends" blog for Western Carolina University. We are working hard this summer to start something new and exciting for you in the fall! Yes, this blog is part of your grade (don't worry...you are sharing the responsibility with other members of your class and the other classes).
The picture that is attached to this blog is from the first "Best of Friends" class this past Spring. We had 11 members then and we now have 70! YAY!!! We look forward to meeting all of you and can't wait to start this semester!

I expect Ms. Ansley to treat us as not only her students but her friends. I hope she will be able to share with us her stories and will be there for us if we need someone to talk to.
I hope that in the class I will find a good friend that I will be able to hang out with and be friends with them through my whole college experience. I hope I will have more then one but I at least want one.
I am really looking forward to this class. It seems like it is going to be a fun way to meet people and be able to let of steam about our classes sometimes. I think Ms. Ansley is going to do a great job. So far I have found that she is really relateable. I hope that she will be able to help us get through our Freshman year and help to make it fun and less stressful.
I absolutely love the idea of this class. I don’t particularly want to name expectations for Ms. Ansley because I often find it very hard to fill expectations others put on me! I just hope she will be a friend and someone to relate to. I am looking forward to actually learning how to be a friend, because it seems in my past I haven’t been the greatest of friends. I love meeting and learning about other people, so I think that this class will be fun! I also think it will be a way to express myself via creative projects. J
I am excited about this class because I feel like I will eventually be able to have someone to talk to about issues that occur in my life. My expectations are for Ms. Ansley just to do her job and bestow in us the ability to make friends and make the most of our college experience. I'm looking forward to making lots of friends.
Although at first I wasn't looking forward to this class because of the time I have found that now I am looking forward to it. I think that this class was a great idea. I expect it to help me make friends, connect with people and just have a support group here. I don't have expectations of anyone in this class. I do hope however that I will be able to open up to several or all of the members including Ms. Ansley and have them in turn open up to me. This could be the start of something great.
After attending this class twice I already love it. I think every school should have something like this and Band of Brothers. I already feel like I have someone to talk to about the stress of freshman year. I don't really have any expectations other than to make some great friends and have a good time. I really think this class could lead to some life long friends.
I think that this class will be a lot of fun. After attending the class twice last week, I think that the class will be a good stress reliever, where I can go to "get away." I dont have many expections for the class excpet I hope to make life long friends who will always be there for me.
I'm really looking forward to this class because I commute and I think it will be a good way for me to make new friends. I think Ms. Ansley will be a great teacher as well as a great friend. She has already done a good job of making us feel like we all have something in common even if we don't know each other.

hello! I really like this class, its been a lot of fun the few times weve had it, and Im really looking forword to tonights class because Im sure its gonna be just as great, Ms ansley is doing a great job.
I am very happy to be taking this course not only because it has great activities and is fun but to have the experinece of meeting new people. I feel that Ms. Ansley will do a great job and that she is fully qualified. She seems like the kind of person that will treat us like adults and students but also be our friends. I am eager to learn more in this class.
